SURREY, B.C. -- B.C. Lions quarterback Travis Lulay will miss two starts due to a shoulder injury. The CFL club made the announcement Tuesday, two days after Lulay was injured while running for a touchdown in a 36-14 home win over the Montreal Alouettes. "Were disappointed but we know hell be back," Lions head coach Mike Benevides said. The Lions said that Lulay, the CFLs 2011 outstanding player, will be re-evaluated following B.C.s game in Winnipeg on Sept. 27. "Im not helping the team if I cant play so I want to bet back as soon as possible," Lulay said. "I dont regret trying to score on the play, its just an unfortunate result." The six-foot-two, 217-pound Lulay completed a 14-yard TD run by lowering his right shoulder near the goal-line and going through Montreal defensive back Geoff Tisdale. Lulay hurt the same shoulder late last season while throwing a pass against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and missed the final five games of the regular season. And in 2007, he required surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum he suffered while playing for the Berlin Thunder of now-defunct NFL Europe. Benevides wouldnt say whether sophomore Thomas DeMarco or veteran Buck Pierce will start when B.C. (7-4) visits the Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-3) on Sunday. Benevides is expected to name his starter Wednesday, however. "Were both going to prepare to play this week," DeMarco said of he and Pierce. "Were just going to see where the reps go." The five-foot-11 200-pound DeMarco came on to replace the injured Lulay against Montreal and finished 4-of-6 passing for 47 yards and a 14-yard TD strike to Marco Iannuzzi for his first CFL career touchdown pass. The 24-year-old Californian, who played his college football at Old Dominion, also ran three times for 13 yards. DeMarco has completed 15-of-24 passes for 148 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in his brief CFL tenure. Pierce, 31, is in his second stint with B.C. He began his Canadian professional career with the Lions in 05 and spent five seasons with the club -- earning a Grey Cup ring in 2006 -- before being released March 9, 2010. Pierce signed with Winnipeg about a month later. Pierce battled injuries throughout his time in Manitoba but his best season with the Blue Bombers was 2011 when he appeared in 16 regular-season games and led the squad to the Grey Cup. But the 2011 campaign ended miserably for Pierce and the Bombers, who lost a 34-23 decision to the Lions at B.C. Place. Lulay was named the Grey Cup MVP after completing 21-of-37 passes for 320 yards and two second-half TDs. The six-foot-two, 195-pound Pierce finished 19-of-37 passing for 250 yards for Winnipeg in the Grey Cup game with two touchdowns and an interception. He also added 17 yards on four carries. Pierce, who played collegiately at New Mexico State, is in his ninth CFL season. He has appeared in 114 career games, passing for 15,059 yards and 73 touchdowns with 62 interceptions. He has also rushed for 1,666 yards on 229 carries (7.3-yard average) and scored 13 TDs. The Lions re-acquired Pierce from Winnipeg on Sept. 8 for receiver Akeem Foster. Lulay, 29, in his fifth CFL season, is the leagues second-leading passer with 2,787 yards. The former Montana State star has thrown 19 TDs with 11 interceptions and added 286 yards rushing, averaging 7.2 yards per attempt, with two touchdowns. The Lions also re-signed QB Joey Elliott, another former Blue Bomber, on Wednesday to help fill the void while Lulay is injured. Cheap Yeezy 350 v2 Womens .ca. Hi Kerry, Welcome back! Im sure you heard Peter Forsbergs comments last week regarding Canadian referees in the gold medal game. Seems to me that he was questioning the integrity and impartiality. Fake Yeezy 350 White . Granlund scored 2:04 into the first period. Max Reinhart, on his first NHL shift of the season, neatly stripped the puck from Zack Smith at the Senators blue-line. As he moved in, his attempted shot deflected into the slot where Granlund buried a shot past Craig Anderson. . Both sides came closest to scoring in the first half, when Roma had a goal from Mattia Destro waved off for offside and Inters Rodrigo Palacio headed high. "A draw was a fair result. Neither squad had many chances," Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic said. According to Ian Rapoport of, the Eagles were engaged in negotiations with Tennessee to trade for the number one pick before the Titans reached a deal with the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are expected to pick one of the two top quarterbacks in the draft, Jared Goff or Carson Wentz, but NFL.coms Jeff Darlington reports the Cleveland Browns are actively shopping the number two pick. Is former California QB Jared Goff coveted by the Eagles? That would mean one of the two would be available for Philadelphia if they could strike a deal with Cleveland. However, although, the two quarterbacks are closely rated by many draft analysts, there is no guarantee both are coveted by the Eagles and they may prefer to see which one is available before pulling the trigger on any move up.The Eagles apparent aggressive pursuit of a franchise quarterback is unexpected given their moves in the off-season.Philadelphia signed Bradford a two-year, $36m (£25m) deal on March 1 and then followed that up a week later by signing former Chiefs back-up Chase Daniel to a three-year, $21m (£14.6m) deal a week later. The money shelled out indicated the team viewed Bradford as their starting quarterback and Daniel as a back-up.Despite the rumoured interest in drafting another quarterback high, Bradford is confident the team stiill has faith in him.ddddddddddddAll the conversations I had before free agency, after the season with (executive vice president) Howie (Roseman) and the people in this building - I feel very good about their thoughts on me and my situation here, he said. This is not the first time Bradford has found himself in an uncertain situation in the NFL. Sam Bradford #7 talks to former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles Chip Kelly When he joined the Eagles in a trade from the Rams last season, there was speculation then head coach Chip Kelly was willing to use him as a trade asset to move up to pick No 2 overall to draft Marcus Mariota.Prior to that, when the Rams traded the No 2 overall draft pick to the Washington Redskins in 2012, there was debate about whether Bradford should be the one who was dealt. The 28-year-old says he learned a long ago to focus on what he can control and ignore everything else.I learned a long time ago to stay away from all that stuff, Bradford said. Its not the first time Ive gone through that situation like this. Im not going to worry about anything I cant control. Its one of those things, regardless of what the situation is, I learned a long time ago, whats said outside this building really has no bearing on what actually happens here.
